Manchester United 1995 - 1996 Away Football Shirt (XL)
This grey away football shirt is one of the most infamous Manchester United shirts of all time. The UMBRO shirt (designed to be both suitable as a player shirt and supporter leisure-wear) was only worn for a handful of matches during the 1995 - 1996 season. One of them was against Southampton in April 1996. United were fighting for the title and went 3-0 down at halftime. Sir Alex Ferguson stormed into the dressing room during the break and shouted 'get that kit off'. It was the last time it was worn, for the remainder of the match they played in the blue and white third kit. Eventually United did manage to secure the title (and the FA Cup).
