Sao Paolo 1992 Penalty Home Football Shirt #10 (Rai)
Rare Sao Paolo home football shirt from the 1992 season, made by Brazilian manufacturer Penalty and with number 10 on the back. The shirt is made of cotton and has an amazing feel to it. The number 10 was mostly used by captain and star player Rai, who scored the penalty in the return match of the final of the Copa Libertadores against Newell's Old Boys from Argentina. After losing the first leg 1-0, a penalty by Rai in regular time in the return made sure the decision went to penalties (which makes the shirt brand even nicer!). Sao Paolo did it better and won their first ever Copa Libertadores. They also beat Barcelona to win the Intercontinental Cup. It was one of the many successes under legendary manager Tele Santana. Rai scored 31 goals in all competitions this season.
